Okay let's put everything in one spot shall we?
If you run across an interview, please post it here!
- 20 minute mark.
Press walkthroughs, thank you to @Kid Kayole for finding them.
Set 15 months after the initial game
The second link is not working
it is now
@Undead Nicole - can you get your hands on the Mixer stream that Jeff and Foge were doing while @Undeadlabs was streaming on Twitch? I haven't been able to figure out where to find it yet.
I still want more than one watch tower. I hope that is possible
I "think" that it's that video I posted in the second post. Otherwise, no.
Thanks for the articles Nicole and Vanilla.
Not a lot of new info, but I think I'm pretty happy with any new info at this point.
lol @ Destructoid - "a big fat tank-type guy"
They also mentioned they were concerned with performance? This worries me. YOSE had performance issues in the FPS department after they stated they would guarantee YOSE with run at a rock solid frame rate. I hate to bring this fact up from time to time, but my experience with YOSE on Xbox One at launch wasn't great. I remember how i felt when i first played it. My expectations were higher due to the statement they made, so I felt duped into buying the game. Now... these performance issues being reported by Destructoid? I have to wonder because you know what they say...
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Rest assured the game is still a way off before release. They may have been showing a early build to the press. They still have time to improve the performance
You can tell from the game footage in the E3 trailer that the game is not at 60 FPS yet, but they've got a year and WAAAAY more hardware than necessary to pull it off.
I am in full agreement here. I want to be able to put a watch tower at each of the 4 corners of my compound.
An equilateral triangle would be even better for towers. One less person, still 360 coverage.
25% less on demand firepower, though. Detection range of NPC's could play a part as well.
I'd take a moat/ditches over towers annnnnny day of the week. You can dig as deep as you want, as long you have spare time, kill anything you've caught, then dig a little deeper.... Not deep enough and you have a horde incoming? No problem. Take your gas and cooking oil etc. and get medieval on their ass. Note that it will eventually get hot enough to self-sustain, as the zombie fat starts burning...
