I'm here to post some news about gaming stuff in this thread, instead of making multiple. So here we go. I'll post whatever good news I find.
Heists DELAYED! Even though Rockstar said that we would be getting heists in the Spring, they earlier posted that it has been delayed and apologized for the inconvenience.

    And also......

Tonight's the Night! Steam Summer Sale is supposed to start tomorrow!
It originally started out as a leak, from June 19th to 28th with 2 encore days taking it to the 30th.
Then a bug in Valve's big screen mode started showing the Steam Sale Interface, with the dates mentioned earlier.

It's odd, as Summer doesn't start until the 21st, but Valve will also be busy with Dota 2 in July, which is why it could have been pushed out earlier.

    Heists? Again?

    Not even surprised this time.

Rockstar should change their PR message to just releasing it when they have it. Not even announcing a release date. Just get it out there.

On the bright side, they did confirm that they will develop new content after heists! They aren't shitting on us with DLC like AAA titles yet! *cough*CoD*cough*

Some more news, Sunset Overdrive will let you play as a female character as well as male.
Each Halo game in the Master Chief Collection will run at 1080p and 60fps.
Minecraft will also run at 1080p and 60fps on both consoles.
The PC version of Titanfall will have a free 2 day limitless demo, as long as you download it this weekend from Origin. I say demo because you only get to play it from 48 hours from whenever you press that play button. You could download it now, but not play it for two months, and still get two days from when you start playing.
There will be an interesting GTA double cash/XP weekend this weekend. It will even have triple RP in the new Gang Attacks from the I'm Not a Hipster update.

    Thanks :D
I like to tell other people about games, so I figured I'd make a thread for it.

Playstation Now will be renting only, from the looks of it. I'm probably the only one that didn't know this already, but I thought it would be like an expansion to the Playstation Store, only providing games from previous generations, while also offering renting of games.
And so far, the prices are also ugly, based on the beta prices. If they want this to be very popular, they need to lower them.
$30 for 90 days of Final Fantasy XIII-2, while you can buy the full, physical copy off of Amazon for $18. That's kind of insane.

yeah it looks good, i might pass on it though as possibly buying a ps4 soon. Loved the full game though. I completed it once as pure strength character with a shield bigger than me and a +10 dark great hammer and then as a no shield or armour allowed sorcerer.

I went with dex again. Sadly I feel they kinda screwed dex characters this game because the best dex weapons were Katanas, and they had HORRIBLE durability. But my main character I used the Dark Wraith Armor, Blacksteel Katana and Throne Defender Shield. Gave me great defense while still being under 70% equipment load so I could still roll around smoothly.
I liked the story of #1 better than #2 but they did improve alot like combat in the second game. I didn't just circle around with my shield up fishing for backstabs or parries to win most fights.

oh you know your stuff so i can elaborate more like....i had the full havel set from the chamber past the door that only opened with the forgotten key. Then when i was sorcerer I went full intelligence and used the staff of knowledge and used the item to make areas harder so i could get multiple soul gyser spells which killed bosses like vendrick in four hits. :) I didn't want to say that kind of thing if you weren't that into it all and you'd of just been likeo_O.

Dark Souls is the ONLY thing that can make me turn into a full blown nerd. Greatest. Games. Ever.

I was really, really wanting the Balder Side Sword or Gold Tracer in this game though. Those was my jam in the first game!

I still need to beat DS one. I remember fighting the first boss with a broken sword, because a trolling buddy of mine said he did (he lied). Very awesome atmosphere and challenge. Reminds me of Castlevania 64, which I loved.

Destiny will have three game bundles besides the base game. These are:
    Destiny Limited Edition ($100):

    • Limited edition SteelBook Case and Game Disc.
    • Destiny Expansion Pass.
    • Guardian Folio: Arms & Armament Field Guide, Postcards from the Golden Age, Antique Star Chart.
    • Collector's Edition Digital Content Pack: Unique Ghost Casing, Exclusive Player Emblem, Exclusive Player Ship Variant.
    Destiny Ghost Edition ($150):

    • Everything from the Destiny Limited Edition
    • Ghost replica, featuring motion-activated lights and voice recordings from award-winning actor Peter Dinklage, voice of the Ghost character, the player’s personal companion in the game.
    • Letter of Introduction.
    • Golden Age Relics, which include a Photo, Patch, Sticker, and two Chrome slides of the Traveler.
    Destiny Digital Guardian Edition ($90):
    • Digital copy of Destiny.
    • Destiny Expansion Pass.
The Expansion Pass is basically the season pass which, as of right now, includes two DLC.
So $60 for the game, $35 for the Expansion Pass ($30 if you buy one of the game bundles), separate the DLC are $20 each.

The actor that originally played Cole in Gears of War 1, 2, and 3 will be reprising his role in the next Gears of War. If they are staying true to the story, this not only means that the setting will take place after the events of Gears of War Judgement, but it also means that this will not be a Gears of War set in the Pendulum Wars, as Cole was still in his Thrashball-playing days.
