this is a fantastic idea, esp in breakdown as levels progress, and you possibly lose oñe of your main fully trained original crew members, what a fantastic way to mark there memory!

I like the general idea but feel the trade-off doesn't really make sense. Why does creating a grave marker cause the player to lose items.

"Good-bye Ed, you were a great guy"

"It's great you've set up this grave to remember him but was it really necessary to bury him with the community's only m60 and all that food he'd picked up on his way home?"

    "Shhh, mourning now, questions later."

If one is married to the idea that creating a grave marker must come with a gameplay cost, it would make much more sense for it to be materials. Say three to create a grave for a fallen character.

Edit: Just noticed this was in the guide section. It probably belongs in SoD2 General instead. What do you think @Undead Nicole

Another problem is that rucksacks tend to despawn after you reach a certain number on the map, around 10 maybe? So you'd uncover a rucksack of much needed ammo, but the trade-off is that one of your much loved friend's grave is gonna get dug up haha

I agree with that completely, it's unfortunately necessary to recover a characters belongings as they were probably using your best gun/melee when they were chomped on, and as levels get harder and items become more and more scarce, recovering these things is quite honestly, essential! Still, a nice idea, esp for people playing with the same crew for a long long time, and they eventually lose oñe, nice idea to mark their memory. Materials is a much more realistic and do-able way to mark it though, your correct.

A Memorial Wall would be better than a Graveyard, after all, once a Feral has finished, there would not be much left to bury:)

I don't think it would be too hard to have a poster that is part of Lily's radio station that its interactive. When you read it, it would be a list of all those that have fallen. Mr. Crees is right on target. It's not a graveyard, but at least a reminder. Besides, there ain't no burying in that apocalypse! The best you can do is throw an incendiary explosive on the remains and haul ass outta there.
