I wanna have what MS was having to extend your contract.
It must mind blowing!
I certainly hope this a compliment.
Really happy for you as a company, and this should mean great things to the fans as well.
As a fan of the "zombie" genre of films, novels, and in recent years television I am ecstatic to see a company bring a game to the market that pays tribute and homage to the greats new and old and who has captured a lot of the flavor of these movies, from last stand scenarios depicted in the homes you enter to explore, story, points of interest, and voice acting.
As a fan of MMOs since 1997 with Ultima Online I would love to see this progress into an MMORPG... and would love even more to be a part of it. Where do I send my resume
Please keep up the good work, it is greatly appreciated and I can not say that more sincerely.
Oh wow. I feel as excited as I did when I first saw a State of Decay trailer!!
I have complete confidence in you guys. I lined up to buy an Xbox one and I still have been playing Breakdown this past week, so that says something! You'll knock it out of the park and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with on the new platform!!
Here's to the long undeath of the zombie apocalypse survival sim
Congratulations! Since recommending this game to several of my friends I've received some hateful responses from them. This is because they immediately purchased the game and have had difficulty pulling themselves away from State of Decay! It is blissfully addictive.
Some suggestions for a sequel would be to open up the Home Site and building options for your base. Maybe combine it with elements of the PC games Stronghold and Lords of the Realm II (not LotR III because they forced players to micromanage). I'd love to see what players could do about building a home base from scratch, or making security additions to those bases already in place. Also, one thing that has confused me about the Trucking Warehouse and Fairgrounds is the number of facility locations compared to the amount of open space. The storage, which is the same size as any facility, in the fairgrounds easily fits into one of the six stalls in the barn yet you can't build anything in the remaining five stalls. What's up with that?
Anywho, you've made a fantastic game. Thanks!
Im still waiting on word about the next patch, you know the one that should fix your survivors from standing at an outpost 6 at a time and do nothing? Or how i can only store 60 rounds or even better how my heroes don't appear in restarts. BD has broken down and im still waiting on the mechanic to call.
Those will be fixed with TU5. Apparently, 'Escort' missions don't appear if you have "Friendly Survivors" on the map, i.e the missions that tell you about Heroes in the environment. Have to admit though, I don't have any Friendly Survivors and I've still not come across any Heroes. I have three Enclaves on the map and I told all of them that I didn't want them to join me. In hindsight I'm thinking I should have told them to join me and then killed them off. I don't THINK you can have more than three Enclaves on the map at any one time.
I hope Microsoft doesn't force UL to abandon PC users to pump the Scambox One.
hi there! just wondering if there is any news on the breakdown update for xbox? I miss not having any heroes to play. I unlocked all but two hereos and they never respawn. thank so much!
Will state of decay carry over to Xbox one???
no, because the xbone didn't come with backwards compatibility.
Doesn't matter, new xbox is basically a PC so hammering ported PC version to work on a proprietary platform that uses already coded-in controller and has zero variability in hardware shouldn't be that difficult.
Will Undead labs plan to make a state of decay game for Xbox one???
i'm not even gonna say anything because it will turn into an argument faster than you can say "Hi".
i will say this tho that just because the "new xbone is basically a PC" doesn't mean anything in terms of difficulty with porting it over it all has to do with whether or not it can handle it or not and it's already been said no by a number of people so i seriously doubt it. backwards compatibility is also for other games besides PC games so no to anything being ported over as backwards compatibility is not an option on the new xbox.
yes it's called "Class 4" for now.
I hope, just HOPE an expansion before Class 4 releases... hell, maybe two or three. I have so many good ideas.
Yeah, which sucks. I just use the HDMI tv pass through to connect my 360 to my xbone and play like that. Now I just need an app to record "tv" and I'll be able to upload some vids.
what no camera? haha set me up there xD
anyways yeah you don't have a camera? that works just as well and one of my favorite let's players does that and it works quite well.
I'm curious about the deal, because I didn't buy any next-gen console yet and the Xbox One isn't the one I think I would buy. I hope any upcoming games will be also released on PC.
EDIT: I must admit that a new zombie game made by you, on XBOX One, would probably be a killer app for me.
I think so. The PC is also a huge platform for the games and look at the really good modders! It never was so easy to get tips for new games or see what the people "are doing" to the game, so UL can look and "copy" good ideas.
